Artist Statement
If my artwork can bring joy, lift the spirit or inspire even one person I have achieved my goal. I have always been awed by the beauty and freedom in nature, especially the magnificent wild animals we find there, and strive in my artwork to bring that beauty and freedom into the spaces we inhabit. I love capturing the expression of the animals I paint and exploring the interplay of abstract elements with the realism of the animal.
